Peace

“You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances of your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.” —Eckhart Tolle

"The Sky"

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky. Heavy hearts, like heavy clouds in the sky, are best relieved by the letting of a little water. I'm a dreamer.

Happiness

When the stakes are this high- when calling God by the right name can make the difference between eternal happiness and eternal suffering, it is impossible to respect the beliefs of others who don't believe as you do.
-Sam Harris

The Journey of Life

“Every journey is personal. Every journey is spiritual. You can’t compare them, can’t replace, can’t repeat. You can bring back the memories but they only bring tears to your eyes.” — Diana Ambarsari

"Advice from the Ocean"

Be shore of yourself.
Come out of your shell.
Take time to the coast.
Avoid pier pressure.
Sea life's beauty.
Don't get so tied down on work,
That you miss out on life's beautiful waves.

Sunlight

“Ô, Sunlight! The most precious gold to be found on Earth.”

 ― Roman Payne

The mountains.

Growing up, my life revolved around beaches and lakes since mountain climbing was a crime where I was brought up. I had my first climb when I was 20, I guess nothing ever before in my life was more moving.

The Little Things

Those little things in life are the ones we fail to accumulate into our lives, but are the one that gives meaning to our days.

Into The Wild

The first time I read about the Mcleodganj-Triund trek was back in 2016, while I was struggling at my CPT classes. I really liked the photos of this place. But never thought I'd ever go there. In 2018, I have been to Mcleodganj twice. I'd mostly go to the monasteries and the waterfalls. But this time we made it to the top. To be honest, it is an easy trek, for many. Even a kid could have reached the top. It is a 4 km long trek that lasts one day max. But, things were different in our case. We took the long (wrong) route which was around 9 km long and dangerous due to the rain and since nobody told us we were going the wrong way, we kept on going. It was really hard and we were let down a lot of times. In fact we even thought of going back at a point. But there was something that didn't let us go. It was like 'the mountains were calling'. So we kept on going, putting behind all the big and small problems. We made it to the top. Being there at the top and experiencing this amazing feeling which we have never felt before made us realise that all those struggles have actually paid off. And we stood at the top. This might sound a lot filmy, but honestly I wasn't anymore scared of anything up there. Atleast for a brief period of time

Night

The Light has gone, the shops have closed,
The dark is here.
The men are home, safe in bed,
The lamps are lit.
Miles away rises the sun of the night,
Half burnt, lighting the path of the blind.

In the dark, there are no rich or poor,
The whole world sleeps, the cripple and the king – all alike.
And peace is back in the valley.
As the sun of the night shines,
As the dew falls from the maple leaves,
The home is warm again.

All the factors that divide men are asleep,
And rose the lovers, poets, and the rebels.
The world would have been more violent without these misfits.
The wealth and riches are all gone,
And in the night, all creed are alike – Invisible.
The world is a better place.
